The season is rolling along and we have already played a number of league games. We are also in the 3rd round of the South Challenge Cup and most importantly, we are through to the 2nd round of The Scottish Gas Scottish Cup! If your company or business wants to sponsor a player this year do it quickly! Individuals or groups of individuals sponsors are also very welcome.

Some disappointing news!

Unfortunately Josh sustained a shoulder injury during Tuesday night’s game away to Albion Rovers. After X Ray it turned out to be a broken collar bone!

Josh has been outstanding for us since joining on loan this season. He will be out for some time but everyone here at The Strollers will be supporting him.

A big shout out to our very own central defender – Matty Shaw, who has been included in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Team of The Round ! Matty had an outstanding game in our 1st round victory against Cumbernauld  Colts that caught the eye of the selectors.

After a 3-0 away victory against Cumbernauld Colts in the 1st round we will now be travelling to Ayrshire for our 2nd round tie. There we will take on Irvine Meadow XI from the West of Scotland First Division.

The game will be played on Saturday 26 October.

This week Gary Jardine moved to make three signings to strengthen our squad.

Striker Macky is on a season long loan from Div 2 The Spartans.

Sonny is a forward who was previously with Kilmarnock and Caledonian Braves youth set ups. He has signed a permanent deal.

Kaz is also a forward previously with Gala Fairydean. He has signed a permanent deal.

 

 

Always a highpoint of the season! Lets see if we can go one better than last seasons 3rd round. This year we have been drawn away to fellow Lowland League competitors Cumbernauld  Colts. For a preview of the match come down to Christie Gillies Park on Tuesday 3rd September at 7.45pm when we meet them in the league.

 

It’s time to pick your favourite player and sponsor them. Not only will it help the club, but it’ll boost your players’ morale knowing that your supporting them through the season. As well as some Strollers stalwarts, there are a few new faces to choose from, too. See them all on our Players page.

Your name or company logo will appear on the players’ board (see pic) on our website and  where appropriate when the players photo is used. This season, we  are also offering the opportunity to have your photograph taken with your man as a momento. All this can be had for £100.

You can have more than one player if you wish or if you want to club together with a friend we’re OK with that too.

It’s time to share some of our signings for the coming season!

After helping us out in a few games last season, Freddie now arrives from Hibs on a season long loan.

Josh was with us on loan from Clyde last season. The combative wing back is now on a permanent deal.

Alfie featured on loan from Hibs last season but the dynamic midfielder has now signed a permanent deal.

A fans favourite when with us previously. Now the big striker back in the fold.

Luca has previously played with Dumbarton but now the midfielder is ours.

Marko,brother of Luca, is a former Ardrieonians academy player. The defender has joined on a permanent deal.

Gwok, an all action midfielder, has joined us on a permanent deal. Thanks to the guys at the FA Nanjaco Di Kafur for helping get the deal done.

Josh, a right sided defender, has joined us on a season long loan from The Spartans.

Arran is a centre back who was previously with Motherwell. He has signed a permanent deal with us.
